The Freedom 38 is very well respected for her sailing performance, designed for ease of single handing. The 38 is a longer version of the Mull Freedom 36. The added two feet of swim platform adds to performance substantially, as well as the aesthetic appeal and the convenience for boarding and safety. The free standing, carbon fiber mast with fully battened mainsail and Tides Marine Strong track and self-tending, Camberspar jib deliver a simple, powerful, and easily controlled sail plan for simple short-handed performance cruising. All sail controls are led through updated rope clutch stoppers to the cockpit and may be controlled by the two Barient # 27, two speed, self-tailing winches. The traveler is Harken and the traveler control lines are fed through the dodger to the cockpit. The deck is white with gray non-skid.
