Learn to sail this summer! This Sirocco 15 ft micro cruiser is a great first boat. Very stable and easy to sail, she taught me how to sail without a single capsize over many years of hard sailing and cruising. (although we did dip the rail a few times!)
Very sturdy fiberglass hull, cockpit and cabin, no soft spots. A few cosmetic flaws and dings but very well made and maintained over the years. naked hull is about 600 Lbs
Easy to raise the mast singled handed and launch . (even easier with a friend!)
Cabin is large enough to lay down in, (but is a bit low for comfortable sitting).
Great for gear storage while underway, and for ducking in out of a rainy squall that passes by.
2 large cockpit lockers for even more storage, so you are not tripping over the cooler while sailing!
Sails, main and jib, in good shape, (have had a few repairs ), 2 lines of reefing for safe sailing on blustery days.
I converted the bolt rope luff system to mast slugs for faster easier sail raising.
Heavy steel centerboard provides stability, and has a steel cable on a winch for easy raising and lowering
The rudder/tiller assembly is a very fine RudderCraft.com rig custom made for this boat. Stainless steel frame, molded plastic foiling blade, and laminated hardwood tiller will last forever. Swings a full 180 degrees up to get it out of the water for beaching and trailering without damage.
Anchor roller on the bow for easy lunchtime picnics on the water and overnight beach camping in some secluded bay down on Lake Powell! Anchor and 100 ft rode included!
Trailer is in very good condition, customized for easy solo launching and recovery.
Larger-than-stock tires in good condition, new bearings, with bearing buddies for long life
