Why is this boat so cheap? The front hatch was left open, water got in and now there's mold on the interior. I believe the interior could be usable with a few days work. So far it wipes right off of most surfaces. Some fabric and possibly the headliner may need to be replaced. Wood parts have cleaned up very easily. The cushions and sails were NOT in the boat when water leaked in. As much as I like this boat, I don't have the time it deserves. It has been an excellent starter boat that sails well even far up into the wind. Welcraft did an excellent job building a solid boat that in my opinion is far better than most small Catalina's.
