    Layout

  • Beginning at the forward interior is a chain locker.
  • Next continuing aft is the forward stateroom. This is either a double and single birth or a very wide double birth with the padded board placed between. There are storage lockers underneath to port, starboard and forward.
  • Next aft is the head/wardrobe compartment. The head and storage area is to port and the sink and medicine cabinet w /mirror door forward. To starboard is a tall bureau cabinet with a hanging locker and four sliding drawers.
  • Next aft is the main salon with dining to port. The dining table drops into a double birth and above is a full length book shelf, two storage lockers and an alcove. Underneath are two storage drawers. To starboard are a full length pullman settee low and a full length pilot berth above. Attached to the bulkhead is a diesel heater with ceramic tile and stainless steel backing.
  • Next aft to port is a U-shaped galley with numerous storage areas, a two burner gimbaled propane stove/oven, an ice box and an oval shaped sink. Across to starboard is an outward facing nav station with three very wide slide out chart drawers and 2 storage lockers below. Above, there is more storage area. Flanking the nav station forward is a deep hanging wet locker. Aft of the station and recessed into the bulkhead is the 110v/12v electric panel, switches and 110v smart battery charger
  • Lastly, aft is the engine compartment with fuel tanks, filters, batteries and hot water heater as well as the Perkins engine.
  • The interior is of mahogany and teak with satin and gloss varnishes and white color paint. Locker and drawer latches are of brass or stainless steel. The cabin sole is 1" thick teak and holly planking.
  • Headroom is 6'2" with white painted wood overhead upon exposed laminated wood beams.

    Overview

  • 32' Westsail Cutter Sailboat 1972 with many upgrades and newer equipment.
  • Glorious has sailed to Mexico and twice to the Pacific Islands. The last voyage was in 2008-2009 and she wants to go again. She was moored in fresh water after returning from Hawaii in September of 2009 except for a summer run into the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands in 2012. She was hauled out in June 2012. Work included; cleaned, repainted, new propeller and zincs installed, sea cocks lubricated or new ones installed, rigging and electronics checked. She was sailed to San Francisco in August 2015 and has been moored in Alameda since then.
