I am the second owner of this boat and it has been primarily sailed on fresh water lakes in Texas and Oklahoma despite being registered to Florida.
Recent high wind during a thunderstorm has caused the boat to tip over on the trailer.
The mast took the majority of the load followed by the trailer fender. The resulting damage caused a severe bend to the mast directly below the spreaders.
The rest of the boat has fared extremely well and the hull only has minor scratches to the rub rail. This is a very equipped 16.5 with many accessories to aid in single handing but unfortunately will need a new mast.
I have debated acquiring a new mast but have decided instead to look for a bigger boat (Capri 22 or Cat22).
Asking $1700 for everything or will sell off for parts.
EZ Load Trailer is in very road worthy condition and recently completed a 7 hour drive.
