Since 1999 my wife and I have cruised the north and South Carolina coast both off shore and the expansive but shallow Pamlico and Albemarle sounds and the ICW. With a little study of the swing up dagger boards, when where and how much, you will find her to be quick and comfortable off shore yet with the dagger boards and rudders raised I can go gunk holing with the best of them. We often anchored over night in 3 to 4 ft of water, well away from traffic or other anchored vessels.
