My plans were to have a professional, no expense sparred, cosmetic restoration of deck, hull, and new bottom paint with epoxy barrier coat.
The restoration produced a stunning example of one of J boat’s best designs.
The boat now lives in the water in Dana Point, CA.
The boat comes with two sets of sails, (Quantum and North) and one 3/4 oz. kite. We have a new kite pole and new, adjustable whisker pole. The boat has Harken everything.
All new running rigging and freshly painted rig with 5-1 out haul set-up. It’s a lightweight (1750 lbs.)surfing machine, thus the name: “Longboard.”
This boat is clean, fresh and dry and comes with a North cockpit enclosure that keeps it tidy.
