I have my Johnson 18 for sale, located in Des Moines, IA. I have over $10k invested into this boat. Bought the boat in 2015, and have made quite a few modifications to it since.
I replaced the spinnaker pole with a beefier version made by offshore spars in 2017, its bulletproof. Replaced most of the lines with high tech tapered ones. I faired the centerboard so that it doesn't hum when being sailed, we hit 19 knots and it still didn't hum. Trapeze system is installed for heavy air. Added a full under deck spinnaker retrieval system like the one on the Viper 640 or VX One. The spinnaker halyard and retrieval line are continuous and as you hoist the spinnaker, the pole auto launches. Replaced the stock rudder with a Nacra F18 Infusion rudder for better control and less cavitation and stalling (stock rudder is included as well). North Main and spinnaker have one season on them, still crisp and fast. The headsail was bought in 2016, It is still crisp and has a good shape to it. Old main and spinnakers are in fair condition. Hull was wetsanded, buffed, and polished this year. Comes with spartan trailer in excellent shape.
