The Johnson 18 was designed by Rodger Martin for 2 people to race. It has been setup for a single person to rig and sail. The boat points well upwind and will plane on a broad reach with a brisk wind. There is a class website with more information (Johnson18.org).
This is my second Johnson 18 to own and I’ve been racing it at Cedar Creek Lake for 7 years.
