This is sometimes referred to as a C for classic model. This is the original water ballast trailer sailor. These boats are easily trailered, stepped, launched and sailed single handed. Very roomy comfortable boat great for camping and sailing wherever you care to go. These boats will sail to their PHRF numbers and are easy to handle.
Combination of design and low factory trailer means you can launch this boat almost anywhere you could launch a row boat. Needs just a foot of water to float in. There is a lot of information and video available on these boats on line. The Macgregor 26 started as the D model. Was changed to the S model in 1990 and further evolved to the X and then M models as power sailers later on in their lengthy production run.
