US2 is an absolutely clean, well cared for example of the fast and versatile S2 7.9.
Can keep up with if not beat anything in it’s class. Floats in a 18” of water with keel & rudder up. Easily trailer-able with it’s pivoting mast base.
No cracks or blistering.
Practically new Mercury 9.9 outboard. Some really nice upgrades & custom mods including a block system to raise & lower the rudder single handed from the cockpit (without having to bend over the transom), even while motoring!
This is an awesome rig for getting in & out of shallow areas.
You an even pull right up to a sandy beach or cove. Not many performance mono-hulls under $15k (or at any price) can pull that off.
