I bought this boat to learn on. Learn to repair and learn to sail. Clear title on boat, trailer came unregistered but is in good shape. In the process of getting the trailer registered.
Entire boat has been gone thru, checked, cleaned and repaired from keel to masthead
95% of all fasteners replaced with new 316 or 18-8 SS
Topside hull sanded and primed w/ Pettit EZ Prime and top coated w/ Pettit EZ Poxy (Electric Sapphire & Bikini Blue)
New teak bow and stern pieces fabricated and installed
All original teak handrails and companionway sanded and oiled. One side of companionway slates was broken at top but doesn't affect use
Deck/Hull joint cleaned and 5200'd around entire joint before replacing rub rail
New rigid rub rail installed with butyl and new 316 SS bolts
New larger teak compression post foot installed(original comp. post)
New Rudder CraftTiller & Harken cover
New Ronstan mainsheet traveller car and new track end stops
Arco 6 winches serviced* w/ new Harken covers
New bronze thru hulls, hoses, and marelon cockpit drains
New 8" access hatch added to aft deck with removable dry bag
New and improved chain plate wood mounts, 4200'd to hull and glassed in with 2 oversized layers of 10oz cloth
ALL deck hardware removed, cleaned and reseated with marine butyl tape
New clevis pins in all rigging
New 1/4" topping lift line and block
New 10" windex
Mast & boom cleaned and waxed
New outhaul line/rigging
New teak backer block for bow winch eye bolt
1 red, white, & blue genoa and 1 smaller jib both original in good condition in bags
Old mainsail is worn with broken luff bolt rope, but still usable
Brand new Precision Sails mainsail with 1 reef
used mainsail canvas cover. Everything is rigged so mainsail stays on ready to go
New slab reefing rigging added to use new main
Cunningham rigging added
New custom mast gate added
All halyards and sheets in good working condition, halyards and mainsheet could use cleaning
Original standing rigging, in good condition but with some slight bends/kinks
12v marine battery/box, Motor Guide Brute 45lb thrust trolling motor, new 8awg wire installed, new aluminum motor mount and HDPE top deck brace
New 25w monochrystalene solar panel and 10 amp charge controller
New 16lb river anchor
The only thing I have not done yet is remove the side windows and reseal them.
No leaks. I tried making the cabin as water tight as possible.
Just pulled it out of the water to make room for my new boat. Cleaned the boat and bottom still looks great. Topsides look great with a few minor scrapes and chips from my learning process.
