100% sailing & race ready, but also a project boat. It's fast and I have the trophies to prove it. Any repair work needed is mostly cosmetic, and can certainly wait a few years or more.
To be clear, you are getting an old boat that looks rough, but also a cover, a great trailer, fully working motor, and sails in good shape, as well. The reason for selling is I am upgrading to a live-aboard boat. You will basically be taking over the restoration project I started, but can also sail the boat as is for many years before needing to do any repairs. Great for a DIY'er but could also be restored professionally if you have the money or want to save for that in the future.
The boat and motor have clean titles, but the trailer has no title (a title can be acquired for it through the DPS)
100% sailing & race ready
Good main, jib, and genoa (including whisker pole), and these are all labelled with the sail # The previous owner won these in a race so they are not that old.
Spinnaker tracks with blocks, but no spinnaker or spinnaker pole
New Boat cover
Trailer has been overhauled with new bunks for the boat to rest on, new wheels, bearings, wiring, etc.
Mostly new running rigging, including new mainsheet system and all new sheets for jib (two sizes)
Spare mast
Motor is a Mercury 4hp 2-stroke. It has been fully serviced and the internal fuel tank has been removed and its been modified to use an external fuel tank connected via hose.
Wood pieces have been restored, including tiller and interior pieces (excluding structural non-removal pieces)
Interior cushions & covers all thoroughly cleaned (2 have broken zippers)
Anchor and rode
Navigation lights rewired, but not completely reconnected or tested.
Lots of stuff will be included, such as cowlings and hoses to vent the interior compartment for the fuel tank, a tiller-stay autopilot type system, a new bow-eye replacement kit, as well as some electronics, life jackets, extra lines, hardware, a large & small battery, etc.
Repaired bow and installed new bow pulpit
The rest of the deck needs some work, quite a bit to be looking new again. However, there are no major issues, soft spots, or delamination. It is mostly cosmetic.
The bottom of the hull is in great shape and smooth, but the sides could use new paint.. eventually
