The Venture 21 was arguably the first successful all fiberglass trailer sailer, originally built by Roger Macgregor as a Stanford MBA project. The result was a sensation, with Macgregor forming a successful company to produce variants of the design in multiple lengths. The 21 is light and responsive and can attain its theoretical hull speed of 6+mph in light breezes with even the smallest of the three head sails. You know it is happy when the keel cable hums!
This boat was raced on local Sierra Nevada lakes under prior ownership. Two major back surgeries have left me unable to continue using it.
