The Merit 25 is a recreational racing/cruising keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with teak wood trim. It has a fractional sloop rig, a raked stem, a slightly reverse transom, an internally mounted spade-type rudder controlled by a tiller and a fixed fin keel It displaces 2,900 lb and carries 1,050 lb of ballast.
