The boat itself is 21’ long and 5.5’ in beam, so the full trailering width is not more than a typical car. Hull weight is 600lbs with another 400lbs for the trailer so it is one of the largest sailboats that can be towed by a small car. Water ballast tanks add an additional 350lbs when sailing and provide stability such that an adult can walk along the side decks without undue heel.
I’ve sailed it across the Chesapeake Bay in rough conditions and trailered as far as South Florida; it’s the most capable boat I know of that doesn’t require a heft tow vehicle or dedicated storage space.
“Brogan” is lying in Charlottesville, VA. Boat and trailer are registered and titled in the state of Virginia.
