The Vector is a double trapeze performance skiff by legendary designers Bob Ames and Steve Clark. It is light, reactive, fast, and fun to sail with a self tacking jib, a fully battened mainsail, and an asymmetric spinnaker on a telescopic sprit. It was voted "performance dinghy of the year" by Sailing World in 2001.
This particular boat sat in a warehouse for 15 years and has been sailed very little since. When I bought it two years ago, it still had paper shipping stickers on the bow.
The boat is ready to sail as-is and includes:
Titled and licensed trailer
Dolly with fat wheels (nests on the road trailer)
New Kinder Industries spinnaker sock.
Like-new Kinder Industries top cover.
Brand new high-performance tapered sheets.
Dual adjustable trapeze.
Mainsail, jib, and asymmetric spinnaker in very good condition.
Two-parts mast: aluminum lower half and carbon fiber upper part.
Custom-made cassette rudder-head for launching in shallow water (or return to the standard fixed head setup).
Recently faired and polished rudder and centerboard.
