New Schurr Sails both Main and Jib. Used at most a dozen times. Always rolled. Why are new sails so GREAT? They are SAFER than blown, worn out sails that can't be flattened if the winds get up unexpectedly. Old sails are dangerous.
Next they are the engine of your boat, next they are faster to boot.
This boat is set up for racing which makes cruising easier also e.g. the Vang can be adjust on both port and starboard. All controls run freely.
Mostly new lines, e.g. Main sheet, jib sheets, Vang etc. The Main halyard is wire so tension says set!
Many new blocks, all sail controls work smoothly.
The mast is a Proctor Tapered mast.
Tiller extension makes steering from side deck easy.
Tilting trailer with new wheel bearings and races. Tilt makes retrieval a breeze. Also has LED lights with quick disconnect to remove lights and wiring harness if you leave the boat at a club where lights are not needed.
There are Forward and Aft buoyancy compartments that is kept sealed keeps the boat from sinking in a knock down or capsize. Also 2 Andersen bailers.
Has rear side seats but they are out as I finds sitting on a cushion on the floor more comfortable.
Active Wayfarer Cruising and Racing up and down the East Coast and Canada.
I have raced and cruised for years but taking care of aging parents has put a serious damper on sailing. Haven’t sailed since March of 2019 :(
