I have reached the difficult decision to put my Potter on the market. It hasn’t been in the water in more than six years and although I keep thinking I will get back there, it doesn’t seem to happen. I want $5500. firm for the boat. It’s basically in perfect shape- it’s been kept in my garage for the last eight years and has the following improvements:
1. New sails (new Main, new 110% jib, almost new 110% jib, a brand new 140% genoa, and the original main sail
2. New mast (don’t ask)
3. Nissan 2hp motor
4. Minkota trolling motor with a new (month old) battery.
5. Bright work all done.
6. Brand new Ruddercraft kick up rudder and tiller
7. Added a swim ladder.
8. Added a jib downhaul.
9. Relocated main sheets to boom instead of cabin door.
10. Probably a bunch of other stuff I’m forgetting.
11. Trailer is in great shape.
12. Boat is located in Opelika/Auburn Alabama. Just so you know, Alabama does not title boats or trailers- it will be sold with a bill of sale and the registration, which is how I bought it.
13. If you have an excellent condition travel trailer, weighing less than 4k lbs., I’d be interested in talking.
14. Also, life jackets, paddles, gas cans, marine radio, wind gauge etc. all go with it.
