Boat tipped over in hurricane Ida in 2021 while stored on land, was leaning against shed, did not fall over all the way.
New engine (inboard diesel, Beta Marine 14) in 2017, run less than 100 hours.
The boat has been used only a few weeks per year and was stored on land most of the time. Bought and picked up from Beneteau factory in Marion, SC, then sailed along the Intracoastal, many years in the FL keys, out to Dry Tortugas, along FL west coast, then Intracoastal to New Orleans.
This German Frers design sails and handles very well.
The boat is in overall great condition, however does need a new mast and rigging (original boom is ok), bottom paint, and waxing of topside.
If all is done at a boat yard expect to pay $9k for all of that.
As-is the boat would be perfect for live-aboard.
The unique layout with table folded down gives a double berth over 7 feet long - can usually not be found on any 30 footer.
Another extraordinary feature of this boat is the hugh aft locker, which can hold 2 folding bikes plus sails and fenders.
The boat has a bathroom with shower (although water capacity is not large), holding tank, water heater, 2-burner alcohol stove in kitchen area, ice box for refrigeration.
There are a lot of hatches and ports which can be opened for good ventilation. Bathroom does need new shower head or faucet.
The damaged port lifeline has been repaired in the meantime (new line and stanchion).
Small defects on the haul have been fixed as well.
Included are
regular jib and main sail
asymmetric spinnacker sail with snuffer and lines (like new)
set of storm sails (main, jib, never used)
Raymarine i50 depth, log unit with transducer
2 anchors, main anchor is oversized with all chain
