I bought this boat so my granddaughter would have a sailboat early in her life like I did. Her name is Pearl thus the name "Maid of Pearl" We sailed her mostly in lakes with the occasional day sail in San Francisco bay. With her updated configuration she's better on all points of sail. Particularly upwind. I have logged 8 knots or better. This is a stable reassuring boat that is a little bit under powered and great for the beginner and seasoned sailor alike.
We hate to sale our little boat just when we have her tuned and the way we like it but we are moving across country and can't take it with us. So our loss is your gain.
