This boat is a 1985 model, shoal draft. It is a keel boat that is versatile, easy to handle and ready to go sailing. All lines are lead aft to the cockpit. Strong, light carbon fiber mast means no stays. The mast is freestanding and not supported by the normal set of standing rigging. No backstay, no shrouds to be in the way. It allos for an extra large, full battened mainsail for good performance under a range of wind conditions. This excellent sloop also has the unique “Hoyt gun mount” spinnaker system that allows the spinnaker to be raised, controlled and doused by one person from the cockpit. Easy for the beginner and challenging enough for expert sailors.
