ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
The factory electrical system was replaced in March 2013 to provide a high capacity House Battery Bank and a separate Engine Battery with battery monitoring. The system was provided and installed by Marine Electric Systems and included the following components and features:
2 Northstar Energy 1 NSB M12-210 AGM batteries House Bank (420 amp-hr capacity)
Xantrex Echo-Charge for charging both battery banks
Buss bars and power wiring for batteries, alternator and charger
House Bank, battery monitor and charging system has significantly improved battery life for extended use of the electronics under sail and use of refrigeration and lights at anchor. This upgrade cost nearly $9,500 in 2013

After making many memories in their over four years of ownership, the owner’s of UNFURLED experienced unforeseen changes in life in the last year and have decided to switch gears and see more of the US inland and coastal waters.
