The San Juan 23 is a cruising design derived from Bruce Kirby's successful racer, the San Juan 24.
The San Juan 23 is responsive to its helm and sail controls, and beginning sailors will learn their lessons quickly.

Low hours Tohatsu 9.8 push button Electric Start. I have the paperwork from when it was purchased. Starts and runs fine. 5 gallon portable tank. Includes battery and tiller extension handle.

Mast was off boat when photo was taken but will be back on the boat for trailering when purchased.
Cabin sleeps 4, has sink with working pump that is supplied by portable 5 gallon water jug (included), factory foam cushions. Ventilation hatch over V berth. Includes matching curtains for windows and sheets sized for the V berth. V berth cushion covers not included.
Clean non-skid carpet on cabin sole.
Sails included are factory original and in original sail bags.
Main - sewn in battens, 2 reef points
All are crisp (other than Spinnaker) with good stitching.
Caulkins trailer has new tires from summer 2021, bearings greased. New bunkboards. Has factory tongue extension that works without ever having to unhitch the trailer. Needs rewiring - some lights come on when connected, but I have a set of magnetic trailer lights to put on it to get you home. Equipped with hydraulic brakes in unknown condition.
