Chesapeake Light Craft Team Dory, adapted with two Piantedosi monorail sliding seat units.
The adaptation was designed by John Harris, and the boat was battle-tested with a successful completion of the Seventy48 (a 70-mile row/paddle race on Puget Sound, WA).
Very seaworthy, capacious enough for camping for three adults (which we did).
Everything in excellent condition. $1,750, less than half price of trailer and kit.
We just don’t row enough to justify storage fees (we have other boats, too).
If this is the right style of boat for you, it’s a great boat and a great deal.
