My family built this boat at Farley Boat Works in Port Aransas, TX in 2015 over 4+ months. We finished the final details in Bastrop, TX in 2016. My dad built it in hopes of doing the Texas 200 with me. Since then life has changed for us all and it has only been on the water a handful of times. It is in excellent, ready-to-sail/race, condition. Brightwork is in excellent condition; no signs of deterioration or UV damage. See the image poster for more details. Reach out if you have any questions. Thank you!
We spent $12k on materials, $3k for the trailer, $1.2k for the electric outboard motor, and $200 for the custom oars, not including the 4+ months it took to build it.
At this point, we need to make space for other things and want to see it with someone who will sail it regularly. If you're interested, send me the reason you want it and a fair offer.
Can talk about delivery or meeting somewhere for it.
