Admty Office 6th. Jan. 1791
Sir,
Having communicated to my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of yesterdays date, informing them of your having joined His Majesty's Ship the Inconstant, and re questions for the reason thereinmentioned that you may be allowed the expenses you have been at in travelling from Milford Haven to join her; I am commanded by their Lordships to acquaint you that you cannot have any allowance for travelling charges, but that an attention will be had to the keeping you in employment beyond the usual time.
